Last night, Farmington had it’s 6th annual District Art Show, showcasing art from students in the district, regardless of age. The artwork ranged from pencil drawings to three foot tall paintings to a wearable dinosaur costume. The event was held at Farmington High School and was busy with students and parents, excited to see the immense amount of creativity in the room.

In addition to the amazing artwork shown, high school students also volunteer to demonstrate how different art pieces are created. Last night, Kyle Berg was seen “throwing” a pot for some interested young artists. The Farmington Art Show promotes student artwork and encourages student artists in Farmington to continue working on their artistic talent. “It’s so much fun to see the progression of art,” commented Tina Cummings, a proud mom whose children have had pieces at the Art Show. “We love it because it brings the whole community together.”
