Farmington’s annual Patriotic Day celebration is Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Farmington High School, 20655 Flagstaff Ave., Farmington, MN 55024. All are welcome at this free public event honoring Active Military, Veterans and Military Families.

The program will feature U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar, Honor Flight Co-founders Jerry and Jana Kyser, and a variety of local musical talent including the Wind Ensemble and Men’s Choir from Farmington High School. The celebration includes a free community meal beginning at 5 p.m. in the Farmington High School Commons. The patriotic presentation begins at 7 p.m. in the Farmington High School Recital Hall.

This is the 19th annual Farmington Patriotic Day Celebration. Over the years many different themes have been highlighted. This year the theme is Honor Flights. Honor Flight Twin Cities is a non-profit organization. Their stated mission is to “honor America's World War II and Korean Veterans for all of their Sacrifices.” They provide free transportation for these veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials.
